How to Receive a CCF Endorsement

The Children’s Campaign Fund has stood beside children’s-rights champions for more than 25 years, guided by our mission to advocate and fight for the right of all children in Washington state to have a safe, happy and high-quality childhood.

Children’s Campaign Fund (CCF) provides endorsements in order to influence the most competitive races for lawmakers who are Champions of Children.

To be considered for a CCF endorsement, candidates and incumbents must meet at least the following criteria:

  • A high score on the CCF Scorecard (for incumbents);

  • High scores on the CCF endorsement questionnaire and interview with the CCF Board of Directors;

  • Proven track record of leadership in the legislative session (incumbents) or in the community (candidates) on children’s issues and is able to demonstrate potential to take a leadership role; and

  • A distinct difference between the election opponents’ stance on children’s issues.

Endorsed candidates receive special mention on the CCF website and social media channels; should use the CCF name in campaign materials; and may receive a campaign donation. For more information about Children’s Campaign Fund endorsements please contact us at info@childrenscampaignfund.org.
