Children’s Campaign Fund announces three new endorsements to be champions for kids in Olympia

August 21, 2018, Seattle, WA – Today, the Children’s Campaign Fund (CCF) announced three new endorsements of candidates for the November general election who, if elected, will put the health and well-being of Washington’s kids first in Olympia.

CCF’s new candidate endorsements for the WA state House of Representatives are:
Bill Ramos (D), 5th Legislative District (Represents East King County, including Carnation, North Bend, Snoqualmie, Issaquah, and parts of Renton, Covington, Maple Valley, Black Diamond and unincorporated King County.)
Jamie Smith (D), 25th Legislative District (Represents part of Pierce County including Puyallup, South Hill, Midland, Fife and part of Parkland.)
Ivan Lewis (D), 39th Legislative District (Represents the eastern part of Skagit and Snohomish counties, and the northeast part of King County including Sedro Woolley, Concrete, Arlington, Darrington, Granite Falls, Monroe, Sultan, Gold Bar Index, Skykomish and part of Marysville.)

CCF is the nation’s oldest statewide PAC for children. In addition to helping elect legislative voices for our children, CCF also supports select statewide races and ballot measures that directly impact the well-being of children and families.

More than 110 candidates sought CCF’s endorsement this year. CCF endorsed 83 candidates for the primary who can be found here. Of those 83 endorsed candidates, 80 candidates successfully made it through the primary and onto the general election.
